Our Mission Statement:
Consumers are becoming more environmentally perceptive and globally conscious causing the demand for alternative fuel to explode. Global Alternative Fuels, LLC. is not only adapting to this new business environment, but embracing it. Through internal development and alliances we will continue to develop our products. GAF will continue to embrace these environmental changes and find new opportunities through innovation and research to help our business grow and prosper.
Beginning in August 2008, GAF will begin producing 5 million gallons per year (MMGY) of renewable biodiesel (ASTM D-6751). Within the first year of processing, we will expand our operation to 25 MMGY.

Global Alternative Fuels (GAF), LLC is the premier biodiesel producer in the southwest. Located at Borderplex Rail Transfer Facility, 3500 Doniphan Drive, El Paso, Texas, GAF processes virgin oils (palm, soybean, cottonseed, and canola), yellow and brown greases, and animal fats to produce biodiesel.

GAF is committed to the El Paso community and welcomes any request for tours of our facility. We recognize that the more our local community knows about alternative fuels and Global Alternative Fuels the more dedicated they will be to help save the environment.
Global Alternative Fuels established itself on the property of 3500 Doniphan in El Paso, Texas in 2006. Originally, the property belonged to the SWIG Cotton Coop and had been all but abandoned for years. This property was an eyesore for the city of El Paso. Both El Paso city and county governments have been very supportive in our efforts to revitalize the area. GAF has brought the city and county of El Paso high quality jobs, cutting edge technology, and awareness for the environment. With our impending expansion, more benefits will exist in the future. |
